Job summary

Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a Head of IT to drive the ICT strategy, governance, and security posture across the organization. You will lead the ICT team, manage budgets, and shape technology roadmaps in a fast-paced space tech environment.

You will engage with executives to advance information security standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee procurement and vendor relationships. The role is based at Yatala, Queensland, Australia, with hands-on leadership and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security, business admin or related field.
• Proven experience in managing ICT systems and services in a complex environment with emphasis on information security.
• Demonstrated experience in executive communication and influencing skills.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior IT leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, hardware, software, and applications, plus information security standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ICT strategy aligned to goals and security standards.
• Identify ICT needs and provide solutions meeting security requirements.
• Manage design, implementation, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure with security, risk and budget focus.
• Develop ICT policies and procedures and review regularly.
• Monitor IT systems for performance, availability, and security; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead ICT budgeting, forecasting, and procurement processes.
• Provide leadership to the ICT team and governance of information security policies.
• Oversee IT governance, risk, compliance and strategic environment.
