Job summary

Strata Results Group in Melbourne is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution and monitoring of IT projects. You will work with project managers, IT teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (optional)
• Proven experience in IT project coordination, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment
• Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and vendors
• Proficient in using project management software, collaboration tools, and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate project activities and tasks, ensuring that project deadlines are met, and resources are allocated appropriately.
• Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, IT departments, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation.
• Support the project manager in tracking and managing project budgets, resources, and expenditures.
• Assist in the testing and quality assurance process to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards.
• Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices, and actively participate in post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
