Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Perth, Australia is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver advanced IT and Manufacturing IT operational support, ensuring system availability, efficiency, and reliability. This role is based out of our Perth office and will drive continuous improvement across services.

You will provide Tier 2/3 support, manage server infrastructure, and lead remote teams during major incident resolutions while maintaining SLA commitments.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar IT/ITSM role.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 local and remote hardware, software, network, and server support across locations.
• Diagnose and manage system compliance tools (Antivirus, Tanium, SOTI, Macrium, WSUS).
• Support server infrastructure and hosted applications; lead remote teams during major incidents.
• Perform full device life cycle management: OS installation, provisioning, deployment, backup/recovery, decommissioning.
• Manage incidents and requests from initiation through closure with high SLA adherence.
• Enforce IT governance, security standards, and SOP/documentation updates.
• Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors for onsite installations; travel to regional facilities.
• Apply Six Sigma and other CI tools to improve service delivery and reduce costs.
