Job summary

The Grace Hotel in Sydney is seeking a Full-Time Information Technology (IT) Officer to join our team. You will maintain computer systems, hardware, software, and network operations across the hotel.

Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, you will provide end-user support, assist with hotel technology projects, document IT records, and participate in after-hours support while upholding confidentiality and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience supporting PC hardware and software.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Server, and Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook and others.
• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT-related issues independently.
• Willingness and flexibility to learn new systems and software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Professional presentation and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the hotel's computer systems, hardware, software, and network operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT-related issues, including application support, hardware faults, and peripheral devices.
• Assist in maintaining Microsoft Windows operating systems, Server, networking, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Provide technical support to hotel team members across all departments.
• Assist with the implementation and support of hotel technology systems.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate IT records and documentation.
• Participate in IT-related projects as directed by the Information Systems Manager.
• Provide out-of-hours phone support when required.
