Job summary

Goodline is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our Head Office on the Sunshine Coast. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, overseeing day-to-day IT operations, security, and reliability for the Australian operations.

You will own core IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networks, and end-user technology while collaborating with internal tech and development teams as we invest in modern systems and automation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a broad, hands-on IT management role with responsibility for the reliable, secure and effective operation of Goodline's technology environment and IT service delivery.

Goodline operates a modern, predominantly Microsoft technology environment spanning Microsoft 365 and Azure, hybrid identity and infrastructure, endpoint and mobile device management, cybersecurity, enterprise networking, business systems and internally developed applications.

You will lead the operational IT function and provide senior technical leadership and escalation support to the IT team and broader business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the delivery of IT services, infrastructure, networks, and user support across the business.
• Manage cloud systems, endpoint devices, access controls, and technology assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Oversee cybersecurity, vulnerability management, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.

The role will work closely with our internal system and technology team responsible for business applications, integrations, automation, data and emerging AI capabilities.

You will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership capability, and a practical approach to delivering technology solutions that support business performance. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will lead IT operations, drive continuous improvement, manage risk, and help shape Goodline’s ongoing technology strategy.

• Experienced in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing IT teams.

• Able to balance operational priorities with long-term technology strategy and improvement initiatives.
• Proactive in identifying and mitigating technology risks while maintaining practical business outcomes.

Experience managing technology within a construction, mining, engineering or other geographically distributed operational business would be highly regarded.
