Job summary

KHG Contracting is seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead and manage our technology environment across multiple business operations in Australia. This role combines IT infrastructure and software development, overseeing networks, servers, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and custom applications to drive efficiency and innovation.

You will partner with stakeholders, manage vendors, and guide digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on reliability, security, and scalable

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in a senior IT, Systems Administration, Infrastructure, Development, or IT Management role.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Windows Server environments.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Ubiquiti/Ubiquity networking equipment and enterprise network management.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and network security.
  • Commercial experience developing applications using: React, React Native, C++.
  • Experience delivering software integrations and business application solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all company IT infrastructure, systems, and technology environments.
  • Support and administer Ubiquiti networking hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPN connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance, security, and reliability across all sites.
  • Manage Windows Server environments, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Active Directory, and related cloud services.
  • Oversee hardware procurement, asset management, and lifecycle planning.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain ASP.NET Web APIs and backend services.
  • Build, support, and optimize software solutions using C++ where required.
  • Integrate business systems, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and third-party applications.
  • Manage application testing, deployment, user training, and ongoing support.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions that improve productivity and reduce manual processes.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and process automation projects.
  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls and best practices.
  • Manage software licensing, vendor relationships, and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide senior-level technical support and guidance across the business.

Job description

KHG Contracting is seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead and manage our technology environment across multiple business operations. This is a unique opportunity for a technically capable professional who thrives across both IT infrastructure and software development.

You will be responsible for the management of our networks, servers, Microsoft 365 environment, cybersecurity, hardware assets, and business applications, while also leading the development and deployment of custom software solutions that drive business efficiency and innovation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of strategic planning, operational support, infrastructure management, and application development.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Management
  • Manage and maintain all company IT infrastructure, systems, and technology environments.
