Job summary

Environment Protection Authority Victoria seeks an IT Infrastructure Specialist to lead internal infrastructure and cloud design, oversee MSP-delivered services, and drive secure, scalable infrastructure. You will coordinate incident response, advise on technology changes, and maintain critical documentation while working from the Docklands office five days a week.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated deep technical capability across cloud platform, identity, network and end-user computing infrastructure.
• Experience specifying and overseeing external provider infrastructure services.
• Proven capability in major incident technical response and remediation.
• Knowledge of security standards (Essential Eight, patching, hardening).

Responsibilities

• Hold internal technical design authority for EPA’s infrastructure, cloud and identity estate.
• Oversee infrastructure and cloud services provided by MSP, including architecture and capacity.
• Lead technical resolution of major infrastructure incidents and permanent remediation.
• Maintain infrastructure security posture with Information Security teams.
• Advise on infrastructure implications of new tech and integrations.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and technical asset position.
