Job summary

Paxus Australia Pty Ltd. in Perth is seeking an IT Governance & Policy Officer to coordinate governance committees, policy and compliance activities, and executive reporting.

You will engage stakeholders, support CIO secretarial tasks, and help develop and review IT governance documents, risk and compliance practices within a dynamic environment. This 6-month contract requires strong analytical skills, ability to research policy options, and experience improving business processes in IT

• Provides secretarial support to the CIO to manage IT governance, committees and branch operations.
• Conducts research and analysis to prepare executive communications and reports; and
• Coordinates review of key IT governance documents in a planned, organised and timely manner.

IT Governance & Policy Officer:

• Initial 6 months contract
• Experience with IT Governance
• Based in Perth

About The Role:

Our client is looking for IT Governance candidate who will be coordinating IT governance committees, policy and compliance activities, executive reporting, and stakeholder engagement processes.

Skills & Experience:

• Provides secretarial support to the Chief Information Officer to manage the Information and related Technology (IT) governance, committees and branch operations.
• Conducts research and analysis to prepare executive communications and reports; and
• Coordinates review of key IT governance documents in a planned, organised and timely manner.
• Experience supporting governance processes, committees and / or executive functions, including identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes or ways of working.
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyse information, develop new policies and procedures, maintain and review existing documents and provide practical recommendations in a complex work environment.
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk, compliance, quality management, information security or IT service management practices.
