Job summary

As IT Area Lead, you will shape the Tribe’s technology strategy, partner with senior business leaders, and deliver secure, scalable platforms while cultivating ING’s engineering culture and One Way of Working.
You will lead end-to-end delivery, build high-performing teams, and advance Agile, DevOps, and cloud practices.
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience delivering complex lending platform transformations.
- Proven ability to lead large engineering and delivery teams through significant change.
- Experience with AI, automation and modern tech to drive outcomes.
- Expert in Agile, DevOps, cloud, and large-scale enterprise platforms.
- Strong executive stakeholder management with C-suite experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery across the Tribe and portfolio.
- Define and execute technology strategy in line with ING objectives.
- Build and inspire high-performing engineering teams.
- Drive Agile and continuous delivery to improve speed and quality.
- Ensure security, resilience, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Oversee health, risk, and lifecycle management of tech assets.
