Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in Heatley, Townsville, seeks an ISS Educator - Kindergarten for part-time hours. You will work 9am–2pm, contribute to learning programs and support children in a safe, inclusive environment.

Join a supportive team led by Senior Educators and an Educational Leader, with opportunities for professional development, paid parental leave, and above-award pay. This role is fixed-term until Feb 2027 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training (Geccko platform).

Responsibilities

• Support developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a Kindergarten setting.
• Collaborate with Senior Educators and Educational Leader to enhance learning programs.
• Ensure safety, inclusivity and wellbeing in all activities.

Employment Type: Part Time 25hrs per week - 9am - 2pm (Fixed Term until Feb 2027 with high possibility of extension)

Pay: $35.44 - $39.91 per hr - Depending on experience and qualifications
