Malek Fahd Islamic School is seeking a Teaching & Learning Lead to drive high-quality instructional practice across a designated grade/stage. The role focuses on curriculum implementation, programming, assessment and data-informed practice, with coaching, modelling and collaborative planning to support teachers.

Applicants should have current NESA Proficient Teacher accreditation or be willing to undertake the Graduate Certificate of Education (Islamic Education) and demonstrate a strong Islamic

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of Islamic educational philosophy and ability to lead in grounding practice in an Islamic worldview.
• Current enrolment in or willingness to undertake Graduate Certificate of Education (Islamic Education).
• Ability to apply MFIS Teaching and Learning Framework to support classroom practice and student growth.
• Experience in programming, differentiation, and enrichment for high-potential learners.

Responsabilités

• Lead teaching and learning across allocated grade/stage to ensure high-quality, consistent practice.
• Collaborate with coordinators and teams on curriculum implementation, planning, assessment, and moderation.
• Monitor student achievement, identify interventions, and support teachers in data-informed practice.
• Provide coaching, modelling, classroom observation, feedback and professional learning to staff.
• Promote consistency in curriculum delivery and instructional approaches across the grade/stage.
