Job summary

Cyient is seeking an experienced network engineer for a 6-month contract in Sydney, Australia. The role focuses on service provision, monitoring, and deployment of enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco and Juniper devices, Fortinet firewalls, and Cisco ACI.

Responsibilities include writing MOPs/SOPs, approving changes, performing deployments during change windows, and coordinating with design teams to implement network changes with strong emphasis on stability and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IP network engineering/provisioning experience.
• CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA certifications required.
• Deep understanding of L2/L3 routing/switching protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, OSPF, BGP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Understand SOW requirements; prepare MOP/Implementation Plan.
• Write MOPs/SOPs and present for change review and approval.
• Execute MOPs during Change Window and ensure network stability.
• Configure and integrate Cisco/Juniper routers and switches; FW/SecGW provisioning.
• Configure security policies/rules in SecGw and Firewalls; troubleshoot.
