Job summary

La Trobe Financial in Sydney seeks an experienced administrator to deliver exceptional customer service to investors and advisers. The role blends handling calls with a range of administrative duties and supports Sales Desk and Business Development Managers to ensure timely service delivery.

The successful candidate typically has two years in financial services administration, a relevant degree, and strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in an administration role within Financial Services.
• Tertiary qualification in economics, commerce or business is highly regarded.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with investors, advisers and other professionals.
• Open new Investor, Dealer Group and Financial Planner accounts.
• Maintain existing accounts and perform daily banking/cheque processing.
• Process deceased estate accounts, redemption payments and client transfers.
• Respond to enquiries from the investor services mailbox.
• Weekly and monthly reporting; generate SPDSs and assist with KYC/AML/CTR reporting.
