Job summary

Keegan Adams Recruitment is helping an established Australian investment organisation to hire an Investment Operations Associate focused on Credit and Emerging Companies. You will own the operational lifecycle of investments after approval, maintain portfolio data, and deliver reporting for senior leadership, committees and the Board.

You’ll build processes, strengthen controls and improve reporting as the platform grows, collaborating with Investments, Finance and legal teams to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Experience in investment operations, middle office, fund administration or related fields.
• Experience with loan or bond settlements preferred.
• Strong understanding of loan interest, fees, IRR, NAV and ECL concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial models and portfolio registers.
• Ability to translate portfolio data into committee or Board reporting.
• Detail-oriented with strong controls and cash validation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate across Investments, Finance, legal and external counterparties.
• Degree in commerce/finance/accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-approval transaction operations including loan, bond and fund settlements, KYC, capital calls and subscriptions.
• Coordinate with Finance and transaction teams to validate funds movements and system setups.
• Maintain loan, bond trading, commitments and pipeline registers, plus portfolio data.
• Monitor cashflows, reconcile cash positions and validate P&L and ECL reporting.
• Produce monthly investment committee packs and quarterly Board reporting.
• Support hedging activities and coordinate committee actions and team administration.
• Track reporting obligations and covenants, collect docs and escalate non-compliance.
