Job summary

Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) seeks an Investigations Manager to lead a large multi-disciplinary team responsible for highly complex and sensitive investigations within IBAC’s jurisdiction. Reporting to the Director – Investigations, the role is full-time and ongoing.

The successful candidate will direct investigations, review affidavits and warrants, and contribute to policy frameworks across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in conducting sensitive and complex investigations.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary investigation teams.
• Proficient using traditional and contemporary investigative techniques.
• Formal qualifications and/or training in investigations, law enforcement or related discipline are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Investigations team’s program of work and oversee investigations.
• Direct and conduct investigations in line with legislation and procedures.
• Review complex written materials (affidavits, warrants, briefs, reports).
• Develop and implement policy frameworks in investigations and across the organisation.
