Job summary

IBAC in Melbourne seeks an experienced Investigations Manager to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on managing complex investigations within IBAC's jurisdiction and reporting to the Director – Investigations.

The successful candidate will oversee planning, delivery of the investigations program, and ensure compliance with legislation and organisational policies. A strong background in investigations and security clearance is essential, with a view to safeguarding public

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing sensitive and complex investigations.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary investigation teams.
• Proficient in traditional and contemporary investigative techniques.
• Formal qualifications and/or training in investigations or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Investigations team's program of work in consultation with the Director.
• Direct and conduct investigations in accordance with legislation and procedures.
• Review complex affidavits, warrants, briefs of evidence and court documents.
• Develop policy frameworks and procedures in line with legislation.
