Job summary

Makita Australia is seeking an experienced Inbound Supervisor to join our Distribution Centre in Pemulwuy, Sydney. This full-time, permanent role leads the inbound team and oversees day-to-day warehouse tasks.

You will manage inbound operations, lead warehouse and casual staff, ensure goods are received, checked and put away safely and efficiently, and drive safety, accuracy, and performance against KPIs. Join Makita to contribute to a busy DC while delivering high service levels and continuous

Qualifications

We’re looking for an experienced Inbound Supervisor to join our Distribution Centre team in Pemulwuy.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day inbound operation, leading a team of warehouse employees and casual staff, and ensuring goods are received, checked and put away safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Lead and motivate the inbound team, including warehouse and casual staff, while managing daily tasks, workflow and performance.
• Oversee inbound operations, including receiving, unloading, checking and putting away stock accurately and efficiently.
• Drive safety and compliance across the warehouse, ensuring WHS procedures, equipment and housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Monitor stock and operational performance, including stocktakes, inventory accuracy, KPIs and reporting.
• Work closely with management and the wider DC team to resolve issues, improve processes and maintain high service levels.
