Job summary

Stirlings Performance Steels Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Inventory Officer to oversee inventory replenishment, maintenance and development across our national branch network. You will ensure stock is in the right place at the right time and price, while reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

The role requires advanced knowledge of inventory systems, forecasting and lead times, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration across Purchasing, Sales,

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory controls and stock replenishment.
• Ability to analyse data and produce actionable inventory insights.
• Strong communication with Purchasing, Sales, Quality, Logistics and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Create and review reports to monitor demand and optimize stock across branches.
• Run health checks on stock lines to reduce shortages and overstocking.
• Manage transfers between warehouses to support sales and fulfilment.
• Collaborate with Sales/Product Management on forecasts and adjust as needed.
• Support Inventory Manager with monthly tasks and replenishment of items.
• Review replenishment reports and liaise with Purchasing on approvals.
