Job summary

Ignite invites an Inventory Coordinator – My Touring to join our team on the Gold Coast. You will manage, analyse, and optimise contracted inventory across a diverse touring portfolio, delivering visibility into performance and supporting smarter business decisions.

With advanced Excel and data analysis skills, you will forecast inventory needs, monitor commitments, and collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, Commercial, and Operations to drive revenue optimisation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in travel, tourism, inventory management, commercial analysis, or a related operational role.
• Strong analytical capability with experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to interpret commercial performance data and identify trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain contracted inventory across the My Touring portfolio, ensuring inventory records remain accurate across all systems and reporting platforms.
• Monitor inventory commitments, utilisation, release deadlines, and inventory exposure, identifying risks and opportunities in partnership with Product Managers.
• Consolidate inventory and sales data from multiple sources to produce accurate and timely performance reporting.
• Prepare and distribute regular reporting on inventory utilisation, sales performance, passenger loads, forecast position, budget performance, and year-on-year trends.
• Analyse booking patterns, sales trends, and inventory performance to provide commercial insights and recommendations that support decision-making.
• Forecast inventory requirements using historical performance, seasonality, and current sales trends to support inventory planning and revenue optimisation.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide inventory visibility, performance insights, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through enhanced reporting, automation, business intelligence tools, and data governance practices.

Who you are:

• Previous experience in travel, tourism, inventory management, commercial analysis, or a related operational role
• Strong analytical capability with experience working with large and complex datasets
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, reporting, and data analysis
• Proven ability to interpret commercial performance data and identify trends and opportunities
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups
• Experience forecasting, analysing performance trends, and supporting commercial decision-making is highly regarded
