Job summary

Empire Group is seeking a Contract Digital Content and UX Specialist to lead the cleanup of the department's intranet pages, rewriting content and simplifying layouts for busy staff. Working with internal subject matter experts, you will strip jargon, flatten information architecture, and rebuild pages into logical, user-friendly digital workspaces.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience using web editing tools and CMS to build layout blocks and optimize menus.
Ability to organize and signpost digital content logically to avoid cognitive overload.
Strong plain-language editing to break down long procedures.
Basic graphic or layout design skills to convert instructions into visual aids.
Excellent communication to work with subject matter experts while keeping pages concise and user-focused.

Responsibilities

Re-architect and simplify layout of internal pages for quick information access.
Rewrite bureaucratic language into clear plain-English actions without changing procedures.
Use web design tools to create flowcharts, checklists, and templates.
Deploy end-user surveys to identify navigation roadblocks and validate workflows.
Bridge between technical experts and end users, manage feedback and approvals.
