Job summary

The Australian Capital Territory's Capital Recruit is seeking an experienced EL1 Intranet Manager / Publisher to own day-to-day intranet publishing for the organisation. This 12-month non-ongoing transfer role requires strong publishing discipline, stakeholder engagement across the organisation and ability to guide content strategy while ensuring accessibility and publishing standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in intranet publishing within a large organisation.
• Ability to provide publishing advice and support to stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of web content principles (accessibility, clarity, user focus).
• Ability to manage competing publishing requests while maintaining accuracy.
• Current AGSVA security clearance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation and publishing of content across the intranet.
• Act as the primary point of contact for intranet and publishing advice across the agency.
• Work with business areas to develop, review and publish clear, accurate and engaging content.
• Provide advice to stakeholders on intranet content, structure, presentation and publishing requirements.
• Review and maintain existing content to ensure it remains current and fit for purpose.
• Manage publishing workflows and ensure content delivery within timelines.
• Provide guidance and support to staff using intranet publishing processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve usability and consistency of the intranet within BAU.
