Job summary

Imaging @ Olympic Park in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 12-month maternity leave contract. The role is part-time (3 days per week, Mon-Fri) and focuses on nursing care for patients undergoing interventional imaging procedures.

Onsite parking and public transport access are available. The successful candidate will support MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound workflows with strong patient safety and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in Victoria is required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in imaging/radiology.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Ability to work in fast-paced imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing imaging procedures (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound).
• Assess patients pre- and post-procedure, monitor vitals and recovery as needed.
• Assist radiologists and technologists during procedures and positioning.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and aftercare.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and documentation in EMR.
• Collaborate with the imaging team to ensure smooth patient care.
