Job summary

Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiographer for a permanent, full-time role in a busy imaging department. You will deliver imaging across cardiac cath labs, interventional radiology, vascular labs, general X-ray, theatre and CT, while upholding radiation safety and patient-centred care.

You should have at least 12 months' radiography experience, AHPRA registration, and AIR PDY accreditation; angiography/interventional radiology experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months radiography experience.
• Registration with AHPRA is essential.
• Completion of PDY/AIR accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality imaging for diagnostic and interventional procedures across modalities.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, general X-ray, theatre and CT.
• Ensure radiation safety standards and infection control compliance.
• Prepare procedure rooms and assist with case setup.
• Collaborate within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor radiation doses and maintain records.
