Coast to Coast RV Services in Villawood NSW is seeking a proactive purchasing professional to manage end-to-end international procurement. You will liaise with suppliers across Asia and Europe, oversee orders, and ensure timely shipments while maintaining accurate records.

You will work with freight forwarders, import documentation, ERP systems, and Excel to optimise lead times and costs. A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Business is highly regarded; 3 years’ experience in

• 3+ years in international purchasing/procurement/import.
• Experience managing purchase orders with international suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, Incoterms and Australian customs requirements.
• Proven experience working with multiple freight forwarders and logistics providers.
• Excellent communication and relationship management with overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple POs.
• High attention to detail and accurate purchasing/shipment records.
• Experience using ERP systems and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end purchasing process from PO placement to receipt of goods.
• Liaise daily with international suppliers across Asia/Europe to align lead times and shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders/transport providers for timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Review and reconcile shipping docs (Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Origin certificates).
• Monitor inbound shipments and communicate delays/ETA changes to stakeholders.
• Maintain purchasing/shipment records and inventory data in ERP.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehousing, Finance and Customer Service teams.
• Ensure compliance with Australian customs, company policies and supplier requirements.
• Assist with inventory planning based on historical demand.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and freight efficiencies.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process from purchase order placement through to receipt of goods.
• Liaise daily with international suppliers predominantly across Asia and Europe to ensure purchase orders are progressing in line with agreed lead times and shipment schedules.
• Coordinate with multiple freight forwarders and transport providers to facilitate the timely and cost-effective movement of imported goods.
• Review and reconcile shipping documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin and other import documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor inbound shipments and proactively communicate delays, ETA changes and supply issues to key internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, shipment information and inventory data within the ERP system.
• Work closely with Purchasing colleagues, Warehousing, Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth receipt and processing of inbound stock.
• Ensure all import activities comply with Australian customs regulations, company policies and supplier requirements.
• Assist with inventory planning by maintaining supplier lead times and supporting purchasing decisions based on historical demand and inventory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, supplier communication and freight efficiencies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive purchasing professional who thrives in a busy international supply chain environment.

You will possess:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an international purchasing, procurement or import role.
• Demonstrated experience managing purchase orders with international suppliers across.
• Strong working knowledge of international trade, import documentation, Incoterms and Australian customs requirements.
• Proven experience working with multiple freight forwarders and logistics providers.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple purchase orders and competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate purchasing and shipment records.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to manage purchasing and inventory information.
• A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
