OVERVIEW TAFE SA is seeking an International Admissions Officer for a full-time role based at the Regency campus on Kaurna Country in Australia. The position runs until 25 October 2027 and focuses on the end-to-end administration and processing of international student admissions into TAFE SA courses. The role supports applications, offers, and acceptances for preparatory English and award programs while ensuring compliance with international education requirements and student administration processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end administration and processing of international student admission applications.
- Assess and process applications, offers, and acceptances for preparatory English and award courses.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to students and stakeholders.
- Work independently and collaboratively while managing competing priorities.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues and apply established procedures effectively.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and data entry processes.
- Use Microsoft Office and student management systems such as SIS and StudyLink.
- Support compliance with international education and admissions requirements.
- Communicate effectively with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Build effective relationships with students and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Strong written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Sound administrative, data entry, records management, and computing skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Experience using relevant student management systems such as SIS and StudyLink.
- Knowledge of international education, application, and admissions processes.
- Knowledge of international qualifications and course entry requirements.
- Knowledge of visa conditions, OSHC, CRICOS, ESOS, AQF, National Code, and PRISMS requirements.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to communicate effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Experience with other cultures or languages.
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services before employment.
