Job summary

Hydrautech in Ballarat is seeking an Internal Sales Support person to back the OEM division. You will process and coordinate customer orders, liaise with suppliers, assist with purchasing and stock, and prepare quotes and sales documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in internal sales, sales administration, customer service or purchasing.
• Strong attention to detail and good computer skills.
• Experience in hydraulics, engineering, manufacturing or related environment is advantageous.

About the Role

Your role will be focused on providing internal sales and administrative support across the growing OEM division.

Your responsibilities will include processing and coordinating customer orders, liaising with suppliers, assisting with purchasing and stock requirements, preparing quotes and sales documentation, following up orders and deliveries, and providing general sales support.

You'll also help ensure customers receive timely and accurate information and that orders move smoothly from initial enquiry through to delivery.

This is a varied role where organisation, communication and attention to detail will be important. You'll work closely with both the sales and workshop teams, giving you the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of Hydrautech's products, customers and operations.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a busy team environment. Previous experience in internal sales, sales administration, customer service, purchasing or a similar role will be highly regarded.

You’ll have strong attention to detail, good computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while keeping things moving. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who communicates well, takes ownership of their work and enjoys supporting a busy sales operation.

Experience within hydraulics, engineering, manufacturing, automotive, industrial or a related environment would be advantageous, but a strong attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
