Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific Pty is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Sales Representative for our Derwent Park branch. You will manage customer orders, provide product and service support, and collaborate with the team to boost branch performance.

The role emphasizes customer relationships, proactive follow-up, and precision in handling inquiries and orders, with market-aligned remuneration and annual salary reviews. Mon–Fri, on-site with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated internal sales, customer service or branch-based sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and adaptability to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders accurately and efficiently via phone, email and front counter.
• Provide product pricing, stock availability, deliveries and account enquiry support.
• Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities to grow sales and improve service.
• Resolve customer enquiries promptly and professionally; assist with follow-ups and quotes.
• Support branch sales targets through proactive engagement with customers and timely deliveries.
• Assist with pick packing and occasional customer deliveries.
• Collaborate with the branch team to maintain a safe, efficient and customer-focused operation.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Internal Sales Representative to join our Derwent Park branch.

This is an opportunity for a capable sales professional who can manage customer relationships, provide product and customer support, and contribute to branch sales performance.

You will act as a trusted point of contact for customers, working closely with the branch team to deliver responsive service, resolve enquiries and identify opportunities for growth.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders accurately and efficiently via phone, email and front counter.
• Provide advice on products, pricing, stock availability, deliveries and account enquiries.
• Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow sales and improve service outcomes.
• Assist with customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Support branch sales targets through proactive follow-up, quoting and customer engagement.
• Assist with pick packing and occasional customer deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to maintain a safe, efficient and customer-focused operation.

Skills And Experience

• Demonstrated internal sales, customer service or branch-based sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills and confidence learning new systems
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• A proactive, reliable and team-oriented approach
• Valid driver's license – essential
• A mechanical aptitude or knowledge of bearings and power transmission products is advantageous, but not essential
