Process Systems is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join the team in Tingalpa, Brisbane. This full-time role combines engineering expertise with customer-focused sales support to deliver innovative mechanical solutions and revenue growth.

You will provide technical product knowledge, assist in solution design, and prepare quotations while collaborating across departments to meet client requirements and exceed expectations.

Process Systems is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that bridges the gap between our engineering expertise and our customers' requirements. Based in Tingalpa, QLD 4173, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales function by providing technical knowledge, solution design, and customer support. This role is essential to our business success, enabling us to deliver innovative mechanical engineering solutions that exceed client expectations and drive revenue growth.

What you'll be doing

• Providing technical expertise and product knowledge to support the sales team in responding to customer enquiries and proposals
• Assisting in the design and development of customised solutions for clients based on their specific mechanical engineering requirements
• Preparing detailed technical specifications, quotations, and documentation for prospective customers
• Liaising between customers and internal engineering teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and achievable
• Supporting the pre-sales process by conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients
• Collaborating with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing customer relationships
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our product range, capabilities, and industry developments
• Responding promptly to technical enquiries and providing guidance on product suitability and applications
• Contributing to the development of sales materials and technical documentation that support the sales process

What we're looking for

• A background (previous experience) or education in mechanical engineering
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, design practices, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
