Job summary

W&P Pumps in Kyabram (Victoria) is seeking an organised internal salesperson to be the first point of contact for customers, supporting our sales reps, answering enquiries, booking service jobs, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

You will handle quotes, coordinate service and breakdown jobs with operations and field service, manage data entry and records in HubSpot, and assist with stock and product availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or internal sales.
• Confident and friendly on the phone.
• Organised, reliable and able to juggle a busy workload.
• Comfortable with computers and learning new systems.
• Clear communication and good attention to detail.
• Background in pumps, irrigation, agriculture, rural supplies, plumbing or a trade.
• Experience with HubSpot or another CRM, or with quoting systems.
• Some mechanical or technical understanding or willingness to learn.
• A current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Answer enquiries by phone, email, and in person; assist with pricing and product questions.
• Take job bookings and coordinate service and breakdown jobs with operations and field service.
• Support the sales team with quotes, follow-ups, order entry and paperwork.
• Care for admin tasks and maintain customer and job records in HubSpot and the job system.
• Follow up quotes and enquiries, including website and social leads.
• Serve counter and walk-in customers as needed.
• Coordinate with purchasing on stock and product availability.
• Check in with existing customers about servicing and repeat business.
• Assist at field days and events as required.
