Job summary

Bitek NSW Pty Ltd is seeking an Internal Sales / Customer Service professional to engage with customers, support sales growth, and help deliver a responsive, people-first service environment. This onsite role at our Sydney-area facility emphasizes building lasting relationships with contractors, installers and wholesalers across Australia.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in internal sales or customer service roles.
• Experience handling inbound/outbound inquiries and processing orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound phone and email inquiries and convert to sales.
• Make outbound calls/emails to promote specials and drive sales.
• Prepare quotes, orders, returns, and credits accurately.
• Maintain CRM records and update customer activity.
• Support external reps with day-to-day customer contact.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities with customers.

What You'll Be Doing

This is acustomer-facing internal sales rolewith strong relationship-building focus.

Managing inbound phone and email enquiries and converting them into sales orders

Making Outbound phone calls / emails to Customers promoting monthly specials and converting into sales.

Preparing and processing quotes, orders, returns and credits accurately

Proactively following up customers to progress quotes, check stock needs, and introduce relevant products

Supporting external sales representatives by maintaining strong day-to-day customer contact

Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, or re-engage existing customers

Maintaining accurate customer and sales activity records in the CRM

Working closely with warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment

Sharing customer insights to help improve service, sales processes, and product focus

Is interested in developing commercial awareness and sales capability over time

Internal sales, customer service, administration, reception, or coordination roles

A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in internal sales or customer service roles is required

Trade wholesale, distribution, retail, or supplier environments

Hospitality or front-of-house experience where people skills and pace matter

Familiarity with MYOB, NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar systems (or confidence learning new platforms)

An interest in AV, electronics, data, or security (CCTV) products (helpful, but not essential — training provided)
