Job summary

TLE Fyshwick, part of MMEM, is seeking an Internal Sales assistant to help customers over the phone, by email and at the trade counter in Canberra. You'll manage orders from start to finish, including picking and packing for delivery, and support a busy branch as it grows.

No electrical wholesale experience is required; the right attitude, strong customer focus and willingness to learn will help you thrive in this role within a large national group.

• Able to learn products and branch processes quickly.

We’re a busy, established branch supplying electrical contractors and other customers across Canberra.

With a long-standing team and the branch continuing to grow, we’re looking for someone keen to come in, learn the business and build a career with us.

You don’t need electrical wholesale experience. If you’re good with customers, willing to learn and happy to get stuck in, we’d like to hear from you.

The Role

This is a varied Internal Sales role where you’ll spend your day helping customers over the phone, by email and at the trade counter.

It’s a busy branch, particularly in the mornings when orders are being prepared for delivery, so everyone pitches in. You’ll look after customer orders from start to finish, including picking and packing them when needed.

About You

We’re open on your background. You might already have experience in electrical or trade wholesale, or you could be coming from hospitality, retail or another customer service role and looking for a career change.

What matters is that you:

• Enjoy dealing with customers and can communicate confidently
• Have a strong work ethic and are happy to help wherever needed
• Are switched on, reliable and keen to learn
• Don’t mind a role that combines sales with some hands-on work
• Hold a current driver’s licence
