Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Leveraged HR is assisting a Chermside-based business to recruit an Internal Sales and Operations Coordinator. You'll be the first contact for customers, turning quotes into orders and keeping the office moving.
You’ll manage quotes, orders, invoicing, stock monitoring and supplier coordination while growing an established client base. A solid background in internal sales or office coordination plus CRM/ERP familiarity will help you succeed.
For 35 years our client has been the business commercial laundries and kitchens rely on for new equipment, preventative maintenance and breakdown service. They're a small, experienced team based in Chermside with a loyal client base, and they're looking for a capable coordinator to join them for the long haul.
The role
This role sits at the centre of the office. You'll be the person customers speak to first, the one who makes sure quotes turn into orders, and the one who keeps everything moving behind the scenes.
This isn't a cold-calling, chase-the-target sales job. It's about looking after an established customer base, following every enquiry through properly, and growing accounts over time. If you'd describe yourself as a farmer rather than a hunter, read on.
What you'll do
Win and grow business
Handle customer enquiries by phone and email
Prepare quotes for equipment, parts and service work, and follow every one through to a decision
Spot opportunities to add parts, service agreements and equipment upgrades
Support tenders, proposals and presentations
Manage orders from sale through to delivery
Coordinate with suppliers and the delivery team on availability, pricing and timing
Resolve customer issues with the right people internally
Keep the office running
Invoicing and accounts support
Monitor stock levels, assist with purchasing, and arrange freight
Keep customer records, pricing and product information accurate in the systems
Prepare reports on sales activity and order status, and manage correspondence and scheduling
What you'll bring
A solid background in internal sales, customer service, sales administration or office coordination
Experience in parts, trade supply, equipment or a similar technical environment is a real plus
A confident, professional phone manner, and you're comfortable following up without being pushy
Strong organisation and attention to detail, and you can juggle competing priorities calmly
Good Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word). CRM or ERP experience is handy, and SimPro is a bonus, but training is provided
Reliability, and a preference for a stable, long-term role where your experience counts
What's on offer
$80,000 to $90,000 + super
Full time, Monday to Friday, office based in Chermside
An established business with a steady client base and a supportive, experienced team
