Job summary

Steadfast brokerage is seeking an Internal Account Manager to advance from an Assistant Account Executive role into corporate broking. You will own a portfolio of SME and mid-market clients, support renewals and placements, and work with senior brokers to broaden your technical knowledge.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, mentorship from experienced brokers, exposure to diverse commercial risks, and a clear path to grow into mid-market and corporate accounts.

Qualifications

• Commercial insurance broking experience and a sound understanding of commercial insurance products.
• Ability to own a portfolio of SME and mid-market clients with growing responsibility.
• Experience using Insight, WinBEAT, SVU and online insurer portals.
• Strong written and verbal communication with keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative and develop technical capability.
• Tier 1 broking accreditation (preferred) or Tier 2.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of SME and mid-market clients, with size and complexity aligned to experience.
• Support mid-market and corporate renewals, including negotiating terms and preparing renewal reports.
• Collaborate with Senior Account Manager and Broking Director on complex renewals and placement strategies.
• Gained exposure to commercial risks including ISR, construction, liability, PI, cyber and management liability.
• Manage new business referrals from enquiry to placement.
• Build strong client relationships while developing broking skills.
