Job summary

Gallagher AU is seeking an Internal Account Executive to support and service a portfolio of SME and micro businesses, working closely with brokers and Account Executives. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base and development in technical insurance knowledge.

Based across Gold Coast, Brisbane or Sunshine Coast offices, you will renew policies, handle endorsements and drive client retention and growth through excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience within insurance, financial services or a client facing environment.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• Tier 1 Insurance qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• A desire to build a long term career in insurance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support an existing portfolio of SME & micro business clients
• Assist with policy renewals, endorsements and general account administration
• Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders
• Identify cross-selling and growth opportunities within the portfolio
• Prepare quotations, policy documentation and client communications
• Support credit management and maintain accurate client records
• Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Deliver exceptional client service at every interaction

About the Role

As an Internal Account Executive, you'll play an important role in supporting and servicing a portfolio of SME & micro businesses while working closely with experienced brokers and Account Executives.
