Qualifications

• At least two years of Australian public practice accounting experience
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for SMEs and individuals
• Working knowledge of Australian taxation and business services compliance
• Experience using Xero or MYOB or similar cloud-based accounting platforms

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
• Prepare BAS, GST and IAS returns
• Assist with taxation and business services compliance for SME clients
• Complete account reconciliations and support year-end compliance work
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and respond to routine queries
