Job summary

Vicaretti and Associates Pty Ltd in Parramatta is seeking a motivated Junior/Intermediate Accountant to join our CPA firm. You will work within a small team on business advisory, taxation, accounting and finance matters, with scope to grow your technical knowledge and client exposure.

As you develop, you will handle BAS, income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and companies, assist with financial statements and client restructures, and liaise with clients to tailor solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in public practice accounting or a similar advisory environment.
• Experience preparing BAS and Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client‑focussed approach.
• Proficiency in MYOB and Xero Client Accounting Software.
• Proficiency in MYOB AE Practice Software is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) for clients.
• Preparing Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships and companies.
• Preparing financial statements and related compliance work.
• Assisting with accounting, taxation and finance matters for a range of clients.

We are a well-established CPA firm based in the centre of Parramatta, providing a comprehensive range of business advisory, taxation, accounting and finance services, seeking an enthusiastic Junior/Intermediate Accountant with long term aspirations to join our team.

Working closely within a small team, you will be involved in a broad range of accounting, taxation and finance matters. As the role develops, you will gain exposure to more complex work, including client restructures, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), together with increased client interaction and responsibility.
