Glenvill Homes in Docklands, Melbourne, seeks an experienced Interior Designer to support client selections, joinery design, and detailed documentation. The role requires strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and trends, with a focus on kitchen and custom joinery.
You'll collaborate across stakeholders and contribute to display preparation and project coordination. In this role you’ll guide clients, prepare detailed documentation, and ensure projects meet Glenvill’s standards and budgets

Reporting to the Studio Manager - Housing, we are seeking a Interior Designer to out state of the art Docklands Office to provide interior support to our clients, including the below;
Guide clients through all selections (fixtures, finishes, materials) – including externals, internals & electrical.
Design and document detailed joinery layouts, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and alignment with clients’ needs and budget, as well as Glenvill’s standards
Prepare detailed selection documentation for operations
Clearly set clients expectations of appointment timeframes and completion targets
Provide an estimate price for selected upgrades
Collaborate with the internal & external stakeholders
Assist with resolving issues during construction
Stay up to date with trends and supplier offerings
Liaise with R&D, national procurement team, suppliers and colleagues to ensure the product offering is current at all times.
Assist with the selections & preparation of Displays
Assist in the briefing of furniture with suppliers on the chosen theme and selections
Assist in walk throughs of display progress throughout the build and prior to handover to the Sales team
Assist in briefing the Sales team on the standard and upgrade selections
Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in residential interior design
Creative eye and extensive knowledge of materials, finishes, suppliers and market trends
Strong portfolio of residential work
Strong knowledge in kitchen and custom joinery design
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
