Job summary

Studio 103 is an award-winning interior design practice based in Brisbane. The Associate role leads design teams, drives project delivery from concept to completion, mentors staff, and strengthens client relationships while contributing to the studio’s growth strategy.

You will work directly with the Design Director to oversee multiple projects, maintain high design standards, and ensure quality across commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in a senior interior design position across commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality and/or residential sectors.
• Demonstrated experience leading project teams and delivering complex design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple projects from concept through to completion.
• Drive design quality, project performance and delivery outcomes across project teams.
• Lead, mentor and develop designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project resourcing, budgets, programmes and quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate consultants, stakeholders and project teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Contribute to business development, networking opportunities and studio growth initiatives.
• Support the development of studio processes, standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
