Job summary

Scott Salisbury Group in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Interior Architect / Senior Interior Designer to lead bespoke luxury residential projects from concept to completion.

You will guide clients, develop space plans, create mood boards and design documentation, collaborate with in-house designers, and stay ahead of trends. Degree required, 5+ years experience, proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit, SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
• 5+ years' experience within residential architecture, interior design or luxury home building.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit, SketchUp and/or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design and space planning for custom luxury homes.
• Establish strong relationships with clients to understand their lifestyle, design aspirations and project brief.
• Prepare mood boards, finishes schedules and presentation documentation, including 3D imagery.
• Guide clients through interior and exterior selections including Joinery designs, Bathroom layouts, Flooring, Lighting, Fixtures, fittings & furnishings.
• Collaborate closely with Design Consultants, in-house Building Designers/Architects and Construction Teams.
• Produce detailed documentation and specifications for construction.
• Maintain awareness of emerging design trends, materials and technologies.
• Support clients throughout the design and pre-construction process to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

About the Role

• This is a rare opportunity to work directly with discerning clients, architects, designers and construction professionals on luxury residential projects.
• You will be tasked as the Brand Custodian, guiding clients through the interior design journey from initial development through to final interior selections and detailed documentation, ensuring every project reflects the Scott Salisbury standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead interior design and space planning for custom luxury homes.

Establish strong relationships with clients to understand their lifestyle, design aspirations and project brief.

Prepare mood boards, finishes schedules and presentation documentation, including 3D imagery.

Guide clients through interior and exterior selections including, but not limited, to Joinery designs, Bathroom layouts, Flooring, Lighting, Fixtures, fittings & furnishings as required.

About You

• You are passionate about residential design and understand that great homes are created through a balance of creativity, functionality and attention to detail.
• Client centric and ability to guide and support clients

Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.

5+ years' experience within residential architecture, interior design or luxury home building.

Strong understanding of residential construction and detailing.

Excellent client presentation and communication skills.

Experience preparing design documentation and specifications.

High-end design aesthetic and strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit, SketchUp and/or similar design software.

Highly Regarded

• Experience with luxury custom homes.
• Knowledge of South Australian planning and building requirements.
• 3D visualisation and rendering capabilities.
• Experience managing client selections within a residential builder environment.
