Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to own a diverse portfolio across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors. The role requires 10–15 years of experience, autonomous work style and close client collaboration, from concept design through detailed documentation and delivery.

You will lead design deliverables, coordinate with consultants, and contribute creative input within a boutique design-led environment based in Double Bay.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years' experience in interior design.
• Strong portfolio across residential, commercial and hospitality.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks and ArchiCAD.
• Experience managing projects from concept to detailed documentation.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, contribute your own creative ideas and manage projects independently, while collaborating with an experienced design team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 10–15 years' experience in interior design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks and ArchiCAD.
• Strong conceptual design capabilities and excellent technical documentation skills.
• Experience managing projects from concept through to detailed documentation.
• Confidence working directly with clients and managing professional relationships.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, fixtures, fittings and contemporary design trends.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a design team.
