We are seeking a Financial Accountant for an urgent contract in Gympie, Australia. The role is full-time and on-site, supporting the finance team through to Christmas.

Responsibilities include month end close, reconciliations, P&L analysis, inventory valuation, fixed assets, audit support and manufacturing cost analysis. CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded and immediate start is available.

Formación

• Strong financial accounting experience required.
• Solid month end and balance sheet capability.
• High proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to collaborate with finance and operational teams.
• Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure is advantageous.
• CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded.

About the Role:

We are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for an urgent contract opportunity with a food manufacturing business in Gympie.

Working full-time and fully on site, you will support the finance team through to Christmas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month end close, journals and accruals
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• P&L reporting and variance analysis
• Inventory reconciliations and stock valuation
• Fixed asset accounting
• Audit, BAS and compliance support
• Manufacturing cost and operational variance analysis

You will ideally have:

• Strong Financial Accounting experience
• Solid month end and balance sheet capability
• Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
• Confidence working across finance and operational teams
• Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure would be advantageous
• CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded

• Up to $90 per hour + super, dependent on experience
