Job Description In this role, you will act as a key technical advisor to our Asset teams, serving as the primary point of contact for Instrument and Electrical engineering support. You will play a critical role in maintaining plant reliability by responding to equipment issues, supporting breakdown events, and developing condition-based repair and replacement strategies. Reporting to the Senior Materials & Corrosion Engineer, this role will lead the development, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of the refinery's on-stream piping inspection program in accordance with AS 3788 and refinery integrity management requirements. This is a critical role that has been created to address a growing need for dedicated ownership of inspection and integrity data. With the increasing volume and complexity of inspection records, corrosion monitoring information, and integrity data we require a specialist engineer focused on extracting value from many data points and translating them into meaningful integrity outcomes. As the subject matter expert for piping inspection data and integrity trends, you will work primarily from the office, analysing inspection results, identifying degradation patterns, improving inspection effectiveness, and ensuring refinery piping systems remain safe, compliant, reliable, and fit for service.

You are a detail-oriented engineer who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and solving complex asset integrity challenges. You thrive in an analytical environment and have the ability to turn large datasets into practical engineering decisions that improve safety, reliability, and risk management outcomes., * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline. Minimum 2 years' experience within refining, petrochemical, oil and gas, or other continuous process industries. Demonstrated experience in pressure piping integrity management and inspection programs.
