Job summary
Viva Energy is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to act as the key technical advisor for Instrument and Electrical engineering support within the Asset teams. You will lead the refinery's on-stream piping inspection program and manage an integrity database to drive data-informed decisions that improve safety and reliability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical engineering.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in refining or process industries.
- Experience in pressure piping integrity management and inspection programs.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the refinery On-Stream Piping Inspection Program in accordance with AS 3788 and refinery integrity management requirements.
- Manage, maintain and improve the integrity inspection database, ensuring data quality and completeness.
- Analyze large volumes of inspection, corrosion monitoring, thickness and condition data to identify trends and risks.
- Develop and optimise risk-based inspection strategies for refinery piping systems.
- Provide engineering support to ensure refinery piping systems are safe, compliant, reliable, and fit for service.
- Support inspection team in delivering inspection programs and asset integrity outcomes.
