Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot integration platforms and interfaces.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain system integrations using healthcare interoperability standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, application teams, and third-party vendors to gather, define, and deliver integration requirements.
• Manage end-to-end integration processes across multiple systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve integration incidents, defects, and performance issues.
• Support the implementation, upgrade, and optimisation of clinical and enterprise systems to enhance interoperability and data exchange.
• Participate in technology projects, ensuring deliverables are met within agreed scope, quality, and timeframes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience working with healthcare messaging standards and interoperability frameworks.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and supporting integrations within healthcare or similarly complex enterprise environments.
• Experience working with integration engines, middleware platforms, or enterprise integration technologies.
• Strong understanding of healthcare information systems and clinical workflows.
• Experience designing and supporting both standards-based and custom integrations.
• Solid understanding of system-to-system communication protocols, data integration methodologies, and interface design principles.
• Ability to analyse business and operational requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Exposure to API-led integration architectures and modern integration approaches.
• Experience working with APIs, scripting languages, and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of cloud-based integration solutions and enterprise applications.
• Understanding of authentication, security, and data governance principles.
• Previous experience within healthcare, hospital, or clinical technology environments.
