About the Client

INDEX is partnering with a State Government (Victoria) organisation to support the delivery and ongoing operation of a large scale, statewide health information environment. The environment spans complex clinical and enterprise systems and underpins secure information sharing across metropolitan, regional and community health services.

About the role

This role focuses on designing, building and supporting integration solutions that enable the reliable exchange of clinical and operational data across multiple enterprise systems. You will contribute to both BAU integration services and project based delivery, ensuring integrations meet healthcare standards, architectural guidelines and service reliability expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support integration routes and interfaces enabling data exchange across clinical, patient administration, financial and reporting systems
• Deliver integration components including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and deployment
• Diagnose and resolve complex integration and application issues, including debugging and root cause analysis
• Provide technical leadership within the integration team

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering integration solutions within the health sector, including HL7 and CDA messaging and data transformation
• Proven capability with enterprise integration tools and technologies, including Java and web services
• Solid understanding of system integration concepts, networking, connectivity and interface architecture
• Experience supporting production integrations and maintaining service continuity in enterprise environments
