Job summary

The Buttery in NSW is seeking a part-time weekend coordinator for the Way Back suicide aftercare program. You will screen, assess needs, and connect participants to services, delivering trauma-informed support primarily by phone and email with some in-person meetings.

Hours total 26 per week, Fri-Mon, with weekend penalty rates. Hybrid work from home and Binna Burra office. Role suited for students or anyone seeking meaningful part-time work and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• University level qualifications in AOD, social work, psychology or mental health.
• Current driver's licence.
• Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Screening, assessment, planning and connection to our support services.
• Respond to enquiries, assess potential participant needs and provide suicide prevention aftercare support.
• Mostly remote work with some face-to-face meetings; flexibility for weekend shifts.

Education
