Job summary

Statewide Building & Restorations Group (SBRG) is seeking an experienced Insurance Building Estimator for Sydney. You will be the main contact for clients, policyholders, insurers and trades, conducting site inspections and preparing detailed estimates for residential and commercial insurance claims.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance building repairs, restoration, or construction estimation.
• White Card is essential; trade qualification is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of NCC/BCA and WHS requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and damage assessments after insured events.
• Prepare accurate estimates, scopes of work, and insurer reports.
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, trades and internal teams.
• Support project delivery and coordinate with the Construction Manager.
• Monitor progress, manage variations and keep costs within budget.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, regulatory and company requirements.
• Maintain documentation and reporting throughout each project.
• Apply NCC, BCA, and Australian Standards knowledge.
