Job summary

Watermark Constructions is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support our insurance-building and construction projects on the Sunshine Coast. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting and documentation from start to finish, working with insurers, clients and trades to keep projects moving.

Your role requires strong administration, communication and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, construction administration, insurance repairs, building, trades coordination or a similar role.
• A sound understanding of construction methodology and project delivery processes.
• Experience working with project schedules, budgets, variations, claims, reporting or job-management systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, insurers, trades, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of recordkeeping.
• Strong planning, time-management and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• A practical understanding of quality, environmental and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Confidence using common technology, systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• A genuine willingness to learn, improve processes and develop your skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating project planning, delivery and close-out activities across assigned projects.
• Maintaining project schedules, budgets, reports, records and project documentation.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues and implementing practical solutions.
• Liaising with clients, insurance representatives, policy holders, suppliers, subcontractors and trades.
• Managing communication relating to project requirements, variations, delays, disputes and customer expectations.
• Supporting quality assurance and ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, regulatory, environmental, quality and safety requirements.
• Maintaining accurate data and records within relevant systems.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce rework and support better customer outcomes.
• Upholding a safe, respectful and professional workplace culture.
