Job summary

Capricorn, a leading member-owned organisation in Australasia, is seeking a Broker Support Administrator to manage outstanding insurance premiums and debtor accounts. You will monitor aged debt, contact Members by phone and email, secure payment commitments, and maintain accurate records of collection activity.

Working with Account Executives and insurers, you will negotiate payment arrangements, investigate billing discrepancies, and provide weekly updates on 30/60/90-day debtors while

Qualifications

• Experience in debtor collections, accounts receivable, credit control or account administration.
• Experience managing high-volume outbound and inbound customer communications.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving account queries.
• Strong telephone communication, customer service and negotiation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage outstanding insurance premiums and debtor accounts.
• Monitor aged debt and contact Members by phone and email to secure payment commitments.
• Issue debtor correspondence and maintain accurate records of collection activity.
• Negotiate and document payment arrangements; investigate billing or payment discrepancies.
• Provide weekly updates on 30, 60 and 90-day debtors and applicable debtor letters.
