Job summary

Beacon Building Services (BBS) is seeking an experienced Insurance Building Estimator to join our team in Victoria. You will assess domestic and commercial insurance claims and prepare accurate reports, scopes of work, estimates, and tender packages.

This role requires a trade or building qualification, a valid driver's licence, and proven experience in insurance estimation. You will work on-site and in the office, liaising with insurers, strata managers, customers, and suppliers to ensure

Qualifications

• Trade or building qualification in construction.
• Full and valid driver's licence.
• Experience in insurance building estimation (domestic/commercial).
• Experience with strata, insurers and government clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments to determine damage cause.
• Prepare reports, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
• Compile and submit tender packages in line with client requirements.
• Coordinate supplier quotations and preliminary programs of work.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain service levels.
• Assist with emergency works on rostered days.
• Complete associated administration and documentation.
